In general, diamonds are considered perfect if they are pure white.
However, fancy diamonds are an exception to this rule (fancy = unusual, chic):
All diamonds that fall outside the usual colour scale of D (perfect white) to Z (yellow). Diamonds can occur in all colours.
The rule with fancy diamonds is that the more intense their colour, the more desirable they are.
